Let’s welcome our new Vice President of Malaysia, Theresa Khoo to our MSBCA board of directors.

Theresa was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. She had worked in different parts of Asia as advertising manager, director and film producer at international advertising agencies, film image banks and production houses in Kuala Lumpur.

After living in Ontario and Texas, in 2005, she relocated with her husband, Vernon and her children, Roland, and Daryl to Calgary.

From 2006 to 2020, she worked as a Relocation Consultant assisting clients including the Malaysians with their relocation needs.

She has been a member at MSBCA since 2008. She has volunteered at Sunday lunches and annual festivals. She is interested in starting smaller interest groups like walking, hiking, lunch, and dinner group at MSBCA. Currently, she is pursuing her own interests such as redecorating, gardening, and learning Mandarin.

Thank you, Theresa, for expressing a desire to serve MSBCA and its members. We appreciate it! Volunteers are the heart of MSBCA.
