I was blessed with this Lego Architecture Skyline on New Year’s Day.

Besides playing Lego with my 4 kids when they were little, I’ve never ever built Lego from the ground up. What a joyful and relaxing experience! I lost myself in the immersive and creative building journey. I couldn’t stop until I finished building the set (850+ pieces) in several hours.

I love this beautiful centerpiece that is now sitting in my home office. This will always remind me of my birth country, Singapore!

By the way, one is never too old to build Lego or anything you set your minds to! Never allow your age or lack of skills to stop you from learning and doing the things you want to do in life or from making a difference in the lives of those around you.

There is so much to life and to live for!

It’s not too late to live life to the fullest! Enjoy and cherish it while you can.

The National Heritage Board (NDB) collaborates with My Little Brick Shop in the Building History: Monuments In Bricks And Blocks exhibition, which display Singapore’s eight national monuments made with more than 110,000 Lego pieces. The exhibition is currently held at the National Library, after which the miniature landmarks will make their appearances at the public libraries at Jurong, Tampines, Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Choa Chu Kang.
