PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear friends, hope this message finds you well! It’s Springtime so hope everyone gets out and enjoy the outdoors.

Our community has been thriving and active and many thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who make it all possible.

The Happy Lunar New Year celebration on 16 February 2025 is still vivid in my mind to see the happy faces as families and friends gather for this auspicious celebration.

One of our outreaches to other communities is Mustard Seed where we cooked and served dinner on 06 April 2025. It was a very satisfying effort and experience to serve and interact with other communities.

The month of May is Asian Heritage Month and MSBCA is involved and participating in Kid’s Can Play event to showcase and experience traditional cultural activity and games for children at our clubhouse on 10 May 2025.

We are also collaborating with First Step Together Society for seniors resilient project, an event which will be held at our clubhouse on 25 May 2025.

In our digital world, we want to learn more about Cyber Safety. MSBCA in conjunction with YouthLink Calgary will have this event at our clubhouse on 14 June 2025. Please come and learn.

We are also grateful to be connected with many other communities not mentioned above to foster stronger relationships and ties.

MSBCA website has a number of activity groups listed for your perusal and participation. Another new group is added to the list, the Happy Singing Group which was founded on 08 March 2025.

We want a community that is vibrant, lively, connected and create good memories together.
