December is a month of Giving and Kindness. Yes, it’s that time of the year again where people are frantically trying to find the perfect gift for their loved ones, homes are illuminated by festive lights and charitable giving is at its highest. It’s Christmas. We would like to request our members to take this opportunity to pause and reflect, how grateful we are, with what we have, be it small or big. If you can make homemade or buy sweets and cakes and give to those less fortunate, to friends and neighbours, and share the Joy of Christmas during this unprecedented times is by itself beautiful.
Let’s all be appreciative that we are able to celebrate Christmas with partial lockdown rules. On November 22, 2020, we had our first Food Take Out Order. We like to inform all of you that our Nasi Lemak with Cassava and Curry Puffs was Truly Asia and we had a knock out sale. We received feedback that it was fragrant and tasty. We want to thank our Chef, Charan Kaur for cooking the Nasi Lemak, Jill Heng for her Cassava and Ee Peng for her Curry Puff. We want to thank our volunteers and all who supported on the Food Take Out Order to make it
